Cotton Growers Services, as its name implies, is a cotton focussed, service based company. Since its inception in 1979, CGS has grown to service every major cotton growing region in Australia, supplying cotton crop protection and management products as well as crop consultancy services.
CGS recognises that the strength of the organisation lies not in bricks and mortar but, in the staff who are the effective facilitator for the customer, consultant and supplier to ensure their business success.
Safety
Our Goal - “To make Health and Safety a Habit”
There is no excuse for working in a dangerous workplace. In 1998 CGS undertook to make our working environment a safe place and employed the services of the National Safety Council of Australia (NSCA). CGS is currently working within the Star structure and aiming to achieve a 5 star grading.
Training
For our staff to be able to add value to our customers’ business they must have training and support. The CGS College provides the practical and theoretical training by industry accepted leaders and educators.

CGS Cadet scheme
The CGS cadet scheme is an initiative, which provides training for graduates to enable them to smoothly move into the CGS structure. Three cadets spend three months in four different branches, learning all aspects of agronomy and customer service specific to each branch.
