Introducing the CGS AgChem Reference Guide
CGS has released its January 2022 edition of “AgChem Reference Guide” across its 12 national retail outlets.
Measuring 1.2m by 1.2m the guide was last updated five years ago and contains listings for over 443 widely used agricultural chemicals in farming including active ingredients, chemical groups, brand names, chemical formulation and manufacturer / suppliers.
The CGS AgChem Reference Guide is very comprehensive and is a must for farmers.

AGCHEMICAL GROUPS
The agchemicals are split into convenient groups: Herbicides, Insecticides, Fungicides, Cotton Defoliants, Seed Treatments, Growth Regulators and Spray Adjuvants.
Under each group is a list of active ingredients, brand names, formulations and suppliers for ease of reference.
SPRAY APPLICATION CHECKLIST
A handy checklist to ensure you and your staff's safety while using agchemicals. This guide has a special coating so you can tick the items as you go through the list. Once completed, simply wipe off ready for next time.
BOOM CLEANING PROCESS
Information detailing the minimum cleaning process after using agchemicals and where to find decontamination instructions.
PHONE NUMBERS
The AgChem Reference Guide also has a section for phone numbers where you can list important contacts, including emergency numbers.
HAZARD INFORMATION AND PPE
This section gives a brief overview on Safety Data Sheets as well as detailing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) necessary when handling agchemicals.
